Each entrant with a book named as a Winner or Finalist in the 2024 Next Generation Indie Book Awards is invited to attend the awards reception being held at the US Grant Hotel in San Diego, CA on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm Pacific Time. All individuals wishing to attend the awards reception must register in advance by completing the order form below.

A $135 deposit for each Winner and Finalist is required to be paid in advance to attend the awards reception. This $135 deposit is refundable as long as you attend, and will be refunded within 30 days from the awards reception. However, only one Winner or Finalist per book entered is entitled to the refundable deposit. Please note the $135 deposit will not be refunded, for any reason whatsoever, if you do not attend the awards reception. The number of attendees is supplied to the venue in advance, therefore refunds will not be issued to anyone who cancels their reservation within 2 weeks prior to the event. No refunds will be allowed after the tickets have been sent to everyone attending.

Winners and Finalists are also welcome to invite up to 2 guests to attend the reception with them. The ticket price for each guest is $135. Please note that the $135 ticket price paid for guests is not refundable at all and goes towards the cost of the event.

To attend the 2024 Awards Reception you will need to reserve your spot and pay for it by no later than Friday, May 31st. Prior to the event a ticket will be sent to you via email. You must print and bring the ticket to the event or show the ticket on your phone.

Everyone must have an advance paid registration to obtain a ticket for entry. Anyone who hopes to drop by and attend the reception as a walk-in without a previously paid reservation or bring additional unregistered and unpaid guests will not be granted access to the event. We have had to turn people away for not having a paid reservation prior to the event. We do not want to do that and cause embarrassment for you and/or your guest, so please register and pay in advance. The evening's presentation is compiled based on advance reservations.
