I wanted to say thank you to everyone for enabling me to experience a great event. I am proud to be a 2012 Next Generation Indie Book Awards winner in the category of Animal/Pets for my book, Puppies For Sale $25.00. The Plaza Hotel was beautiful and the event was exciting, fantastic and more than I expected it to be. I met some really great people that I am sure I will stay in contact with. Thank you all for the positive words and encouragement.

Thank you so much for the gorgeous award ceremony this week at the Plaza. The talent was palpable in that room! I'm so honored to have won three awards with you for GIRL UNMOORED. It just means so much to any writer to be noticed and rewarded for our quiet work. Thank you! I hope you had as much fun as your guests did.

The Next Generation Indie Book Awards has given our books a boost in sales and more importantly, a boost for each author's confidence who has been named either a Winner or a Finalist. Authors work very hard not only to write, but to promote their books. A prestigious award like this offers author and publisher many new opportunities to publicly acknowledge the success of their books and that, in turn, will increase sales. A very knowledgeable librarian once told me that if a customer, librarian, or teacher is in the market to purchase books, they will always choose the book with the awards...and I can attest this is true! Kudos to the Indie Book Awards for all they do and we love going to the Plaza for the Awards Reception!
